Mission Project: Pack Hygiene Kits for Afghan Refugees, 7:00-7:30 p.m.
In weeks ahead, Virginia will potentially see thousands of Afghans arriving at our military bases for entrance processing while determining more permanent placement. They are coming with little resources. To help provide for their basic needs, the Missions Development Team of our Baptist General Association of Virginia is collecting hygiene kits that will be distributed at these locations.
On Wednesday evening, we will put together as many hygiene kits as we are able. These will be assembled in one-gallon bags. For more information on the hygiene kits and how you can donate, click here.
Children and youth and their families are encouraged to participate. If you need childcare for children 4 and under, please contact sandyrooney@riverroad.church.
