At VBS, children will travel to Mars and Beyond where they will learn about how God is able to do far beyond all we could ask or imagine. We have such a fun week planned: go beyond with boldness, faith, hope, kindness, and thankfulness.

Ages:
- Preschool – Completed 5th Grade
- In order to participate in VBS, your child(ren) must turn four by September 30, 2019.
- If you have a youth (6th grade or older), they may volunteer during VBS week.
- Childcare provided for volunteers with children under 4.
Volunteers:
We will need volunteer support in order to make this a successful week for our children. The VBS Team is looking for both adult and youth volunteers. Childcare is available for volunteers who have children under 4. A background check is required for adults. If you have any questions, please contact the VBS Team at vbs@riverroad.church.
Preschool Shepherd (8 to 10 adults needed): Greet children in their assigned classroom and check them in; put name tags on their back; have several tables set up with things from the preschool closets for them to do in the morning; have paper, crayons, and markers available; serve snacks in your room which will be brought to you; take children to chapel for opening/closing worship, bible story, art, music, and playground; dismiss children to parents from their room
Elementary Shepherd (8 to 10 adults or youth needed): Greet children in their assigned classroom and check them in; take their group to the chapel for opening/closing worship, bible story, art, snack, recreation, music, and missions; and dismiss children to parents from their room.
Greeters for Monday and Tuesday (2 adults needed)
Photographer (adult or youth): Doesn’t have to be every day of the week. Take pictures and upload photos to the church for a slideshow to share at the lunch on Friday
Volunteer opportunity if you can’t be there during the week
Decorations Leader and helpers: 1 or 2 adults to organize a team of people to decorate the halls for VBS. Decorating can be done as soon as summer camp for preschool is finished.
Medical Release Form:
We will also need you to fill out a Medical Release Form. Please bring the completed form when you arrive for VBS on Monday, July 15, 2019.
