Our little Heroes will learn about how God gives them Heart, Courage, Wisdom, Hope, and Power.
Ages:
- Preschool – Completed 5th Grade
- In order to participate in VBS, your child(ren) must turn four by September 30, 2018.
- If you have a youth (6th grade or older), they may volunteer during VBS week.
Volunteers:
We will need volunteer support in order to make this a successful week for our children. The VBS Team is looking for both adult and youth volunteers. Childcare is available for volunteers who have children under 4. A background check is required for adults. If you have any questions, please contact the VBS Team at vbs@riverroad.church.
Preschool Shepherd (8 to 10 adults needed): Greet children in their assigned classroom and check them in; put name tags on their back; have several tables set up with things from the preschool closets for them to do in the morning; have paper, crayons, and markers available; serve snacks in your room which will be brought to you; take children to chapel for opening/closing worship, bible story, art, music, and playground; dismiss children to parents from their room
Elementary Shepherd (8 to 10 adults or youth needed): Greet children in their assigned classroom and check them in; take their group to the chapel for opening/closing worship, bible story, art, snack, recreation, music, and missions; and dismiss children to parents from their room.
Volunteer Snacks Needed:
Providing snacks for our volunteers is a wonderful way to support the Vacation Bible School team at RRCB. Please drop your snacks off in CH #143 (the Life Sunday School Classroom) the Sunday before VBS starts. Click here and let us know what you’re bringing.
Medical Release Form:
We will also need you to fill out a Medical Release Form. Please bring the completed form when you arrive for VBS on Monday, July 9, 2018.
