Adult Wednesday Night Program – December 3

The Rev Dr. William Bradley Roberts is Professor of Church Music and Director of Chapel Music at Virginia Theological Seminary (Episcopal) in Alexandria. His compositions are often performed by our choir. Last winter Roberts spoke to the Deacons on “Messiah,” the most popular and most often performed oratorio in the history of Western music. He will reprise the talk on December 3, this time offered to the entire RRCB community, including recorded examples, as well as live performances by members of our choir.
The Chancel Choir will sing Handel’s Messiah Part I on Sunday, December 7.

Youth
On Wednesday night the youth will be putting together college care packages for those folks currently in college. This small act lets them know of our continued care and concern for them during this stressful time of taking exams. We would like to ask you to bring some goodies to be put in the boxes. Here is more information and a suggested list of items to bring. Please bring items to the church office before Wednesday or you may bring them to the youth area on Wednesday night.
Dinner
Dinners are currently being catered, so the menu varies from what has been offered previously and our attendance count needs to be collected earlier than before.
