Adult Wednesday Night Program –
September 18 & 25, Assembly Room

led by Eric Johnson

You’ve read the book (perhaps), you’ve seen the movie (maybe), now let’s talk about the Christian undertones or spiritual themes we see (or don’t see) in the story. While a contemporary of C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien was not a noted spokesperson for the faith, though he was a devout Christian. Even if you have never read the book, come and peer into the world created by Tolkien and see what you might learn about the world around you.

Make your dinner reservations by Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.  You may contact the Church Office, email Susan Young, or place a reservation card in the offering plate on Sunday.

Coming up next:

  • Rethinking Long-term Care on October 2
