Season of Prayer and Easter Offering for CBF National and Global Missions
March 1-31, 2016
Extra time for reflection, prayer and meditation are Lenten practices taken on by many of us as Easter approaches. Some of us include fasting or giving up certain foods as part of our spiritual journey. Baptists have also included a Season of Prayer and an Easter Offering for missions. Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, with which River Road affiliates, sponsors missionaries, field representatives, who work in the Americas and around the world who work with the most neglected. They give support and assistance for “life needs,” including the message of God’s love.
Pray for Tammy and Ralph Stocks, CBF Field Representatives in Romania. They work to provide literacy and job skills for a better way of life for the Roma people who endure much prejudice and poverty. They carry the message of God’s love for all people.
