9:30 a.m., Fellowship Hall

(Formerly Stop Hunger Now)

We will be packaging (at least) 10,000 nutritiously sound meals for distribution through the Rise Against Hunger network. The event begins at 9:30 am and will last until 11:30 or all meals are packaged.

This is a great opportunity for children to participate alongside adults in a project that directly impacts the hungry in our community and around the world. Children 5 and older can participate in the event.

Volunteers

  • 8-10 Volunteers are needed to assist with set up beginning at 8:00 am.
  • At least 70 volunteers are needed to assist with the packaging of the meals.
  • You do not need to volunteer for the full duration of the event. You can sign up to volunteer for a time that will suit your schedule.

The Board of Missions has contributed $3,000 towards packaging our first 10,000 meals. With additional donations we can package more meals and increase our efforts toward Stopping Hunger Now.

Please contact Austin Clark or visit the registration site, for more information, to volunteer, or to donate to this wonderful opportunity. (One registration is good for one family.)
