Thoughtful Faith Community (TFC): New Name, New Programs, Same Church Family!
Wednesday night programs are changing this fall! We look forward to you joining us each Wednesday night beginning September 6. We will share meal at 5:15PM each Wednesday evening, followed by new programs for children and continued interesting and fun adult programming. Also look for special Wednesday evenings where all ages will come together for multi-generational and inter-generational learning and service opportunities.
Weekly Schedule
Childcare is provided for newborns through pre-k from 5:30- 7:30 p.m.
- 4:45-5:30 p.m.: River Road Camerata
- 5:15-6:15 p.m.: Dinner
- 6:00-6:45 p.m.: Children’s Choirs
- 6:00-7:15 p.m.: TCF-Youth
- 6:15-7:15 p.m.: TFC-Adults
- 6:30-7:30 p.m.: Bell Choir
- 6:45-7:15 p.m.: TCF-Kids (kindergarten-2nd grades and 3rd-5th grades)

TFC-Youth & TFC-Kids Program Information
This fall we are introducing new programming that has been created to help serve our children, youth, and their families on Wednesday nights.
Youth will have the opportunity to use the Youth Area as a study hall from 6:00-7:15 p.m.
The children will continue after choir from 6:45-7:15 p.m., and will be split into two groups, grades pre-k to 2 and grades 3 to 5. They will follow a rotation model:
- Recreation will either be on the playgrounds or in Chapel Hall.
- Bible Story nights are two weeks at a time to allow the children to learn a story, and then present the story to other children the following week.
- Missions Education will include learning from missionaries, both visiting RRCB and others around the world, or missions we participate in, such as CARITAS.
- Intergenerational Nights are presented throughout the fall where the children will participate with adults or learn the same topic, but in a child-friendly atmosphere.
The staff and the Board of Christian Education & Spiritual Formation are excited about these new programs, but we do need volunteer help in making it successful. We are asking adults to commit to one activity in the rotation. We hope you will prayerfully consider volunteering, to sign up, please contact Kim Crowley (kimcrowley@riverroad.church).
