The year is off to a wonderful start and all of our extracurricular activities are off with a bang! Three times a year the preschool offers a slew of sports and theme based extracurricular activities for children to enroll in. Sessions change with the seasons offering our children opportunities to explore new sports and activities without parents having to give up quality family time during nights and weekends.
Afternoon Adventures:
An exciting experimental enrichment series offered afterschool for 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds. Adventure classes are designed to enhance children’s awareness, appreciation, and understanding in various topic areas through fun, developmental appropriate hands-on activities. Classes offered during the fall of 2017 are Sensational Science, Blast Off!!, Creative Cuts, Leap Into Literature, Super Sensory, North Pole Fun, and more!
Sports and Art Classes:
Sports classes are offered Monday through Thursday for children 3 years and older. Children are given the opportunity to take classes from local vendors and experienced teachers. Families love enrolling children in our sport and art classes which provide a chance for children to try out multiple sports throughout the year. Offerings this fall are Toddler Golf, Tennis, ArtHause Visual Art Studio, Pop Hop and Rock, Village Dance (Ballet), and Richmond Kickers Soccer.
Inspire:
This class is offered for children who are enrolled in either the Prekindergarten or Jr. Kindergarten classes every Tuesday and Thursday. Children enrolled in this program are provided with opportunities for hands-on science experiments, art with nature, design concepts using unusual bases, and exciting math games. Children also participate in yoga, story time, or movement activities each class.
