Shrove Tuesday Party

Preschoolers, children, youth, and their families will meet together to celebrate Fat Tuesday. There will be plenty of great food: pancakes, bacon, fruit, and drinks. Games and special music will fill the evening with fun. Please sign-up by February 12 by filling out the form online. Come join us as we celebrate together!

Preschool Fun Morning

Come join us for a time of fellowship as we gather with our RRCB families with preschoolers for fellowship and fun. There will be snacks, games, and playing outside. Come join the fun! All families with preschoolers (aged kindergarten and below) are invited. Please let us know if your family can attend by filling out the form online.

This event is put on by the Children’s Ministry of River Road Church, Baptist. However, River Road Church Preschool Development Center families are invited to join RRCB families in fellowship and fun!

CARITAS is February 17-24, 2018
We are hosting 32 women!

Children and youth are encouraged to help volunteer!

Saturday, February 17

  • Cot Set Up at 11:45 AM, Fellowship Hall — Help set up the cots before the CARITAS guests arrive. This can go toward your child’s volunteer hours.
  • Children Make Lunches at 12:30 PM, Reception Room — Children and families are invited to help make lunches for our CARITAS guests. Please come to the Reception Room (room behind the Fellowship Hall Kitchen) and meet Kim Crowley and Deb Gray.

Sunday, February 18

  • Youth Make Lunches & Serve Dinner at 6:00 PM — Youth will make lunches and prepare and serve dinner.

Saturday, February 24

  • Prepare & Serve Hot Breakfast at 6:00 AM — Help send off the CARITAS guests will a warm meal on the last morning at RRCB. Volunteers are needed to cook/bring food as well as serve breakfast.
  • Cot Take Down at 9:00 AM — Help clean up the cots after the CARITAS guests depart. This can go toward your child’s volunteer hours.
