Central Virginia Masterworks Chorale returns to River Road Church, Baptist, to present its 2015 winter concert “Christmas in the New World.” The performance will feature Carols and Lullabies – Christmas in the Southwest by Conrad Susa, as well as arrangements of traditional carols by prominent American choral composers Alice Parker, Robert Shaw, and Mack Wilberg, and a spiritual arrangement by well-known African-American composer and conductor, André Thomas. New director, Ryan Tibbetts, is excited to meet the River Road Church, Baptist community, and renowned pianist Daniel Stipe returns as accompanist.
