The Annual Business Meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall following Wednesday Night Dinner.

We will need a quorum of 100 to conduct the business of the church. 

One of the agenda items is a follow up to a motion passed at the November, 2013 Business Meeting.

RESOLVED, that the following be added to Article III, Section 2, of the Church By-Laws of River Road Church, Baptist:

Q. Membership Committee

1. Membership
The Membership Committee shall consist of no fewer than ten (10) members elected by the Church.

2. Duties
The Committee shall develop and coordinate specific procedures both to identify and recruit new members to join the Church. The Committee shall develop and coordinate specific procedures to identify and encourage less active and inactive members to become more active in the life of the Church.
The Committee shall work with the Church Staff, the Boards of the Church, and the Communications Committee in concert to increase membership and participation of inactive members.

We will still have Wednesday Night Dinner & the Business Meeting:

If a quorum of 100 is not achieved, the Pastor will give his State of the Church Address. The Business Meeting will then be rescheduled to follow worship this Sunday, February 2 at 12:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Please use caution when traveling to and from the church today. If you are unsure about road conditions, do not risk your personal safety to come out tonight.
