On October 29, River Road Church, Baptist unanimously received the Reverend Marnie Fisher-Ingram as our new Associate Pastor for Youth & their Families and the Reverend Daniel Ingram as our new Minister of Administration. Marnie and Daniel will begin their ministries at River Road in early January 2018.
Marnie and Daniel come to River Road from Passport Youth Camps (one of our close mission partners), where they have served for the past 11 years. Marnie has supervised all the youth camp experiences and Daniel has served in administration at Passport.
We were especially delighted to meet their daughter, Mollie, who is a budding artist and soccer star. If you were at the church’s Trunk or Treat Celebration, you would have seen Mollie sporting her cute cat witch costume.
On a personal note, I am immensely grateful to the Youth Search Committee (Patsy Kendall, Tim Merritt, Emily Phillips, Bill Tuck, and Sarah Wilkinson) and the Administrator Search Committee (George Davis, Martha Day Dumas, and Rob Sandford). I am grateful for the hours they spent dreaming, interviewing, discussing, and praying for the next ministers for our church family.
As we give thanks to God for this new partnership in ministry faithfulness, dear church, let us commit to pray for the Ingram family and their transition ahead.
