September 1-30
September is a month of prayer and giving for Virginia missions supported by the Woman’s Missionary Union of Virginia and the Virginia Baptist Mission Board.
Some of the many missions are:
- the partnership mission to Panama
- Standing Rock Native American Reservation
- Bland County Center and other Southwest Virginia missions
- chaplain prison ministry
- disaster relief
- Latino ministry
- development of leadership among girls and young women
- and many more
Join in this period of prayer and giving to the Alma Hunt Offering named for a great Virginian who led in missions outreach for many years.
