In the book of Genesis, God appoints humans to till the ground. Another translation of the Hebrew word “till” is “to serve.” God asks us to serve the earth, to be good stewards of God’s beautiful creation.
A Care for Creation group is in the beginning stages of forming at River Road Church. Our goal is to learn how our community of faith can be better stewards of God’s creation – both here at 8000 River Road and in our lives away from River Road Church. The first step is to help get a more substantive recycling program going here.
