Do you like to ride in a van with fourteen of your closest friends for twelve hours a day? Do you like “fast food” stops? Is living in a dorm and eating cafeteria meals for a week your idea of a good time? Do construction projects, painting, and grounds work make your heart beat faster? Do you enjoy swatting black flies and mosquitoes? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, there may be an opportunity for you next summer.
In 1989, our church discovered Farmington, Maine. Twenty-four years and eight projects later, there is still interest in the work done by the Conference Center and church. Several adults, in our church, have asked that we explore the possibilities of returning to Maine and once again continuing the work started some many years ago.
On Sunday, January 27, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, there will be a meeting to judge the interest of adults desiring to return to Farmington. There are no guarantees, no date and no money, just a desire on your part to take part, once again in a project that is God directed and life changing. This potential trip will be for adults and college students. If you are interested, let’s talk. We look forward to seeing you on January 27th.
