Adult Wednesday Night Program – December 19, 2012
This is the last Wednesday for activities until Wednesday, January 9.
This 1946 holiday movie classic still resonates even after all these years. We’ll watch film clips and allow the story to provide the prompts for a discussion on some of its themes: servanthood and sacrifice, the gift of friendship, the pitfalls of greed and commercialism, and the sense of community and belonging that helps us feel truly connected.
The session will be held in the Adult Assembly room off of the Lower Commons from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There is no cost for the session, and church members are encouraged to invite friends.
