“Camino di Santiago – The Road Home”
Program
The Road Home celebrates the rich history of the Spanish Renaissance alongside the emerging wealth of American female composers of national and international renown. Using the feasts of Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter for our journey, family and home provides a secondary as represented by Mary, mother of God and familial connotations that the Spiritual and folksong evoke. Intertwined this program draws one to the notion of home, both in the arms of our maker, and in the embrace of family. Roots that run deep and define us at our core.
