Pilgrimage at RRCB

Exploring our Journeys with God: A Pilgrimage Weekend
Men’s Retreat at Camp Alkulana
September 29-October 1, 2023

Life comes at us in seasons and these often bring transitions in one form or another. Where are you in your journey? Are there specific events happening in your life related to work, health, family, or some other area that have you asking questions or wrestling with details it entails?

This retreat is an opportunity to join fellow pilgrims at Camp Alkulana and journey more deeply into your story, including your current place in life. You can share in community and fellowship, enjoy good meals together, find some quiet space for yourself, breathe in the wooded outdoors, and take a break from your regular obligations and routine. Getting out of the normal flow often creates openness within us that isn’t there when we are busy at life. Come be a part of this meaningful time together.

If you have questions, please reach out to Rev. Anna Miller at annapmiller@riverroad.church or call the church office.

Retreat Leaders: Rev. Andrew Terry & David Vinson

Andrew Terry and David Vinson lived, served, and prayed together in the Benedictine community at Richmond Hill for several years. Prior to Richmond Hill, Andrew spent formative years at RRCB and is now an Episcopal priest serving in Texas. David spent formative years at Camp Alkulana and is now a Mental Health Professional in Richmond. If Andrew were making a pilgrimage with a fellow pilgrim to go anywhere, David would be at the top of the list. David’s feelings are mutual.
