Journeying with Scripture: Shifting Perspectives Throughout Life led by Rev. Dr. Ron Crawford
6:45-7:30 p.m., Fellowship Hall
We heard Bert Browning and Bill Tuck speak about interpreting scripture during earlier TFC programs this year. They said that as Baptists, it is our responsibility and our privilege to read biblical texts and interpret what they mean for ourselves. But we do this differently at 10 years old than we do when we’re 30 or say, 70. Through our lives, we are growing and learning all the way through. With experience, study, prayer, and all of life rolled in, we will change how we hear and understand the texts. Ron will guide us through some of the ways this happens and offer insights into the process.
Chancel Choir Rehearsal
