CBF Global Missions Offering: A Place at the Table for Everyone
April 2023
RRCB Goal: $10,000

The long-term presence of CBF field personnel, or missionaries, ministering in 18 countries around the world has never been more important as they invite those in their communities to join them at the table. Our support of Global Missions is vital in sharing the Good News in word and deed with the people most marginalized by the world. Because presence matters, there is a place at the table for everyone. At the table, CBF field personnel cultivate beloved community, bear witness to Jesus Christ and seek transformational development among people and places otherwise forgotten and forsaken.

Designated offering envelopes are available in the pew racks—please write “Global Missions” in the memo/note of your check. You can also make a gift online —select “Global Missions” for the fund.

Rick and Ellen Burnett, long-time agricultural missionaries in southwest Florida, are helping residents find a place at the table through community gardens, container gardens, accessing food banks, and partnering with NGO Cultivate America. Immokalee, FL, a small town where the workers live, is a food desert despite the fact that two-thirds of America’s winter tomatoes and other crops are grown there. Pray for the Burnetts and Floridians, and give to the Offering for Global Missions to support their work.
