Wonder Through Movement with Briar Chatterjea
Saturday, June 11, 2022
9:30 a.m., Chapel Hall

As a follow up session to the one offered on our WOW retreat weekend, which was so well received, there will be a Prayer & Meditation Movement Session offered on June 11 at 9:30am in Chapel Hall.

Come explore ways to encounter God and give expression to your prayers through physically moving through space. Our movement practice is understood as a personal spiritual practice for each unique individual body and offers a chance to intentionally and creatively take care of my own whole self: body, brain, spirit. Movement practice in community brings the benefit of learning from each other in fellowship and fun. This does not require any prior experience or skill and is a safe place to try something new. It can be done standing or sitting, which accommodates people of varying ability.

Briar is a trained and recognized dance instructor who has been blessed with opportunities to learn and teach abroad and at home in the states. Time under her calm leadership is gift.

The session will conclude with a discussion on meaningful ways, times, and places where this ministry focus might be pursued in the future.

There is no cost. Just sign up here to come on June 11.
