The school year at River Road Preschool has gotten off to a fantastic start! Religious Curriculum Coordinator, Kay Starke, will lead the first chapel on October 7 and 8 at 9:15 a.m. in RRCB’s Chapel. Yes, that’s a Monday and a Tuesday; children attend preschool on different mornings of the week, but we want each child to have a chance to go to chapel. Please consider joining us for a chapel service to see the smiling faces of these young students as they hear the word of God. After chapel, Rev. Anna Miller will invite parents to stay and prayer for their child in a simple prayer service.

Our theme for the year comes from Luke 6:31 and is most commonly known as the “Golden Rule”: Do unto others as you would have done unto you. This lesson is helpful in all walks of life and by those of any age. Please feel free to join us and share a prayer on behalf of one or all our children. The only way that we can show young children that it is important to pray to God is by showing them prayer is important in our own lives.

Please offer a prayer of thanks to God for the opportunity we have been given here at River Road to provide them with a nurturing and loving Christian environment to make new friends, explore the gifts of nature that God has given them, and learn from teachers who love them.
