E. Carl Freeman Concert Series at River Road Church

The concert will feature music from the stage, both operatic and musical, including composers W.A. Mozart, Richard Wagner, Alan Menken, and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

William A. Dameron

William has performed under the batons of Wolfgang Sawallisch and Kurt Masur at both Avery Fischer and Carnegie Hall. William has been seen on both Operatic and Musical Theatre stage in productions of Amahl and the Night Visitors, Die Fledermaus, Man of LaMancha, Side Show, Godspell, Gianni Schicchi and The True Story of Cinderella. He has appeared with members of the Richmond Symphony in concert performances of Bach’s Magnificat, Nun komm der Heiden Heiland, Wachet Auf, Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass, and Handel’s Messiah. William has performed with Columbus Symphony Orchestra in Mozart’s Grand Mass in c minor  and Britten’s Cantata Misericordium. In 2012 he performed recitals in Richmond VA as part of the Gelman Room Concert Series as well as the E. Carl Freeman Concert Series at River Road Church, Baptist. He studied with Bruce Kolb and Thomas Faracco while at Westminster Choir College. He currently is a student of  former member of Chicago Lyric Opera,  Michelle Harman-Gulick. Mr. Dameron has also had several original compositions performed in Virginia, New Jersey and Korea. He is currently the Tenor Soloist at River Road Church, Baptist in Richmond, VA.
