Feast of St. Francis of Assisi & Blessing of the Animals
Sunday, October 15
4:00 p.m., Front Plaza

The RRCB Youth will plan and lead this special service. We will gather on the Plaza in front of the Sanctuary to remember the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. St. Francis is known for his love of God’s creation, which included a special love for God’s creatures. We will be blessing animals as a part of this service. You are invited to bring your well-behaved animal(s) to receive a blessing.

Trunk or Treat 2017
Saturday, October 28, 2017
3:00-5:00 p.m., Back (North) Parking Lot

Join us for this free, family-friendly event for all ages. There will be food, games, and trick or treating for children. Adults, decorate your car and hand out candy! Don’t forget to bring a non-persishable food donation (or four) for the River City Faith Network Baptist Centers!

Fall Intergenerational Hike 2017
Saturday, November 4, 2017 (Rain Date: Saturday, November 18, 2017)
8:00 a.m., Pocahontas State Park

Join us for a morning of adventure and fellowship as we seek to build our community through fellowship and fun together. God is present among us when we seek to love our neighbors – Come, be a part of River Road’s day of joyous fun and growing friendships among all generations! There is no deadline for sign up, however, lunch orders must be received before noon on Thursday, November 2. Click here for more information and to sign up.
