If you have not already, please make your reservation by September 5. You may do so by filling out the form below or contacting the Church Office. When you make your reservation, please indicate how many vegetarian and children’s entrées you’d like for your family.

Standing Reservations are still available!
Standing Reservations for Wednesday dinners, September 6 through December 13, 2017 (no dinner on November 22), are now available. The pre-paid reservation provides a 10% discount from the normal price, so you can miss a Wednesday or two and maintain the convenience of having a standing reservation.
The deadline to sign-up and pre-pay is anytime before the first dinner on September 6. To make your standing reservation, please call the Church Office (804-288-1131) and mail your payment, or make your reservation and pay online through Access ACS.

Back to School! with Ed Pruden, 6:15 p.m., Assembly Room
Ed will discuss the role of schooling in society and provide an update on current trends and issues in education.
About Ed Pruden
Edward H. Pruden, Jr. is a native of Washington, DC. He received his BA and M. Ed. degrees from the University of Richmond, and the Certificate of Advanced Study and Doctorate in Educational Administration from the College of William and Mary. He was an Exxon Fellow in the Education Leadership Seminar at the University of Virginia. Ed has been a teacher, assistant principal, and served a principal of the following four schools: Albert H. Hill Middle School, Thomas H. Henderson Model Middle School, Thomas Jefferson High School, and Douglas Southall Freeman High School. He also served as assistant superintendent in Chesterfield County. In 2010, he and Peggy moved to Sunset Beach, NC where Ed served as superintendent of schools for Brunswick County. As promised, they returned home to Richmond and River Road Church in 2015. Ed is past president of the Richmond Association of Secondary School Principals and served as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Richmond for 15 years. He currently serves on the boards of Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond and Center for Baptist Heritage and Studies. Ed and Peggy have three children. Catherine Pruden Burkett is assistant principal at Robious Middle School in Chesterfield. James Richard Pruden is an attorney with Capital One. Sarah White Pruden is an aspiring actress living in New York City.
