Summer 2017

Our children and youth have a fun-filled summer! We hope your family can join us at one of these many opportunities. Details about the recreation activities and events will be provided closer to those dates. Ages and grades reflect the 2016-2017 school year. Party on the Plaza!
Friends & Family Fun Night
Sunday, July 9, 2017, 5:00-7:00 p.m.

EVERYONE is invited to the Party on the Plaza for a friends and family night on July 9. Food Trucks will be in a NEW LOCATION, along the front of the church on River Road! We’ll have food vendors cooking up yummy entrées on the spot, fun and games (even a balloon artist!) for the young at heart, and plenty of seating so you can chat and relax. We hope you mark your calendars for this evening of fun, food, and fellowship!

Vacation Bible School
July 10-14, 2017

Have U Seen? invites children to discover God’s fingerprints in their own backyard and beyond. Amazing things happen when children discover God at work around them! Child registration is open! Children in preschool through completed fth grade are invited to participate. Preschoolers must turn 4 by September 30, 2017.

If you are interested in volunteering, please email the VBS team at vbs@riverroad.church — childcare is provided for volunteers with children under the age of 4.

The VBS team is also collecting toilet paper rolls for the elementary craft. You may put your rolls in the bin by the stained glass window in the preschool area.

Unidiversity
July 17-22, 2017
Knoxville, TN

The group will spend time in Bible study and discipleship activities. The camp is led by adult volunteers and Youth Ministers. Recreation, talent night, and free time is also built into the schedule. Unidiversity is open to all middle school and high students. All of the spaces for this trip are full! Please pray for the youth and adults going on this trip.

August 4-13, 2017
Farmington, ME

We will once again return to Farmington, Maine to work at the Conference Center and at Farmington Baptist Church. The group will be lodged and have its meals on the University of Maine campus. All of the spaces for this trip are full! Please pray for the youth and adults going on this trip.
