Catch the Spirit
The Board of Missions (BOM) is leading River Road Church to embark on a partnership for missions and outreach with Westover Baptist Church in Westover Hills in south Richmond. Many meaningful opportunities exist for River Road Church to support the important work Westover Baptist is doing in their surrounding community, for Westover folks to join in missions projects here at River Road, and to collaborate on new projects together in the future.
While the BOM Special Committee has begun planning some initiatives to launch our new cross-town partnership, there are going to be many opportunities that blossom once our two churches connect and expand our missional efforts. Our goal is to work together and learn from one another in Christ as we bring our congregations together through missions.
The Westover Baptist partnership is only the first of any number of new missions initiatives to be introduced over time by the BOM Special Committee.
