Adult Wednesday Night Program
Wednesday, March 15, 2017
6:30 p.m., Fellowship Hall
Our church family comes together to share a meal and table fellowship. Each table has a guide and faith story discussion prompts. Get to know some church family members you may not have known as well before. Share how RRCB has shaped and nurtured your journey. This program will be intergenerational/family-oriented.
March 15 Schedule:
- 4:45 p.m.: River Road Camerta, Choir Room
- 5:30 p.m.: Wednesday Night Dinner, Fellowship Hall
- 5:45 p.m.: Children’s Choirs, Choir Room; Youth Choir Room; UC #232
- 6:30 p.m.: Wednesday Night Program, Fellowship Hall
For five weeks after Ash Wednesday and before Holy Week, our Wednesday night dinner and program will be transformed into a learning & sharing time, two of which will be inter-generational. After dinner, we will remain at our tables in the Fellowship Hall where we will spend each week getting to know one another, getting to know about Lent, getting to know about spiritual practices as part of faith. Join us in giving up 45 minutes each week for Lent to study and grow, thus adding in a weekly spiritual practice. May God bless our 40 days together.
Dinners will reflect our simplicity by providing vegetarian-friendly meals. Additionally, we begin program 6:30 (Bob Gallagher and Kim Crowley let out choirs at that time) and go only until 7:15.
Make your dinner reservations here.

Dinners this year are being prepared by Annabell’s Catering. The owners and chefs are brothers Seldon and Moe Plumley. Both have extensive food service and customer service backgrounds. We are excited to welcome them to River Road Church! Seldon has experience as a general manager at Virginia restaurants and country clubs, where his responsibilities included hiring and training food service staff, menu development, and managing food service budgets. Moe’s experience includes managing and cooking at local restaurants as well. Currently, both Seldon and Moe are pursuing catering events, including those at RRCB. If you are interested in having Annabell’s Catering prepare food for your event, contact the church office, or come to Wednesday Night Dinner and introduce yourself!
