The Knit-Wits enjoy sitting for a couple of hours while working with their hands and conversing casually, which includes lots of laughter. This is an open group for all ages who enjoy knitting. A variety of items are produced by the group – some are made for charity, and other items are created for personal use.
Want to make a simple scarf or cowl, even if you’re a beginner? Bring 2 skeins of worsted weight yarn* and either #9 (5.5mm) needles or a J-10 (6mm) crochet hook to our next meeting. If you have another project you’d like to try – or have already started – feel free to bring it in and we’ll be glad to assist!
*Yarn – try Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice, or for some beautiful colors, try Lion Brand Amazing.
