Notice of Regular Church Business Meeting and Proposed Amendment to Church By-laws to be Considered
Please be advised that a regular church business meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. in the Church’s Fellowship Hall. Among the items of business that will be considered are adoption of the Church’s 2015 budget and the following proposed amendment to the Church’s By-laws:
On behalf of the Board of Administration, I move that the provisions of Article III, Section 1, C, 2 of the Church By-laws regarding the duties of the Board of Administration, now stating in pertinent part,
It shall have the authority to undertake any expenditure not provided in the approved budget provided such expenditure not exceed $50,000,
be amended by (1) changing $50,000 to $100,000 and (2) adding after the dollar amount of $100,000 “and it shall have the authority to delegate to its Finance Committee up to that amount of such authority.”
