Canterbury Trip
July 21-29
On July 22, members and friends of River Road Chancel Choir (and singers from Crusader and Youth Choirs) will be arriving in Canterbury, England to spend a week “in residence” at one of the most important and renowned houses of worship in the world, Canterbury Cathedral. We will sing for Evensong on five different evenings, and we will lead the Sung Eucharist service at 11 a.m. on July 27. Our organist/accompanist for the week will be Chris Martin, who is Director of Music and Organist at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church here in Richmond. I am thrilled that our choir has been given this unforgettable opportunity, and I ask for your thoughts and prayers follow us as we experience the presence of God in a very special and meaningful place.
