Food Trucks Hosts

Our first food truck event on May 6 was well received with all indications it was a success! When welcoming our guests from the community and congregation, it was noticed that we need hosts to be on hand to meet and greet our guests and make them feel welcomed, and be available to answer any questions.

We are requesting volunteers from RRCB to select a Tuesday from now through the end of September. It will be wonderful if all small groups, committees, boards, and other leadership groups that represent our to church can select a night to help out.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

Groups needed to assist with Food Trucks – minimum of 5 volunteers needed each night, maximum of 11

• 5:30 – 6:30:
  • 2 volunteers to mingle/greet guests outside
  • 1 volunteer to sit in Lower Commons for questions/bathroom directions
• 6:30 – 7:30:
  • 2 volunteers to mingle/greet guests outside
  • 1 volunteer to sit in Lower Commons for questions/bathroom directions
• 7:30 – 8:30:
  • 2 volunteers to mingle/greet guests outside
  • 1 volunteer to sit in Lower Commons for questions/bathroom directions
  • 2 volunteers to begin clean up
• 8:30-8:45:
  • 2 volunteers to help take down tables

• You may sign up online through Access ACS. (This is the same process the Deacons and CARITAS have been using to manage volunteers.)
• Instructions for signing up are available here.
  • Step 1: Follow those instructions for login and signing up for Access ACS.
  • Step 2: You will search for “Food Trucks [Month] Volunteers”
  • Step 3: Click “Interested” next to the date of your choice.
