We have always cherished the community that we have created at Camp Alkulana—we like to call it The Alkulana Family.
Camp Alkulana’s 106th summer of ministry will be different than any other. The COVID-19 pandemic is changing their summer plans, but it will not change their mission—we will continue to support their efforts to offer programming for Richmond’s low-income, at-risk children and youth. Your gifts to the 2020 Camp Alkulana Offering will help keep this ministry and its impact strong even during these challenging times!
We trust that through God’s guidance and critical support from the faith community, they will continue to be The Alkulana Family.

Now is the time to pray for the success of Camp Alkulana in the summer of 2020 and to give to the Camp Alkulana Offering.
- Pray for Camp Alkulana as they make wise and safe plans for continuing to minister to their campers and families this summer.
- Pray for their camper families. Pray for their safety and health as many continue to work in essential industries. Many other have lost their jobs and are struggling to make ends meet.
- Pray for their faithful summer camp counselors who are experiencing disruptions in work and school
